After about 2 hours, you will reach the boating center, where you will board a traditional wooden watercraft, operated by a river guide in customary regional dress. This stunningly scenic water route will gently take you 15 kilometers downstream, underneath legendary mountain peaks and alongside thick woodlands and winding nature paths. You may even spot some curious local wildlife along the way!

It is quite a long drive but absolutely worth it.
The scenery is outstanding.
We enjoyed seeing traditional wooden houses and 15th century Church of St Michael the Archangel.
Rafting in Dunajec was pleasant. The rafts hold 12 people and it was quite busy.
I recommend if you visit Krakow allow yourself 6 days as there is so much to see and do.
This is a MUST SEE if you are in the area!!
We've recently returned from a fantastic week stay at the Krakow. We were there from the 13th to the 20th of July and enjoyed every minute. We were made to feel extremely welcome by all tour leaders and were very punctual. I can't not mention Blueberry, when we went rafting the Dunajec River Gorge She was extremely helpful with everything, full of good advice, recommendations and nothing is too much trouble for her. She presented her interpersonal skills in a very professional manner. Hoping to return again next year......Cant wait!
