The rocky Wawel Hill, towering over the banks of the Vistula River, has been the seat of secular and church authorities for centuries, and today it is the most visited and one of the most important museums in Poland.
It collects collections of paintings, graphics, sculptures, fabrics, militaria, porcelain, and furniture. In the former royal chambers, there are famous tapestries and Italian Renaissance paintings.

What To Expect

Wawel Royal Castle

Undoubtedly, the heart of Krakow is the residence of Polish kings - the Wawel Royal Castle with its Gothic cathedral. Visiting this symbolic place, we will see a rich collection of paintings, prints, sculptures, fabrics, goldsmiths, militaria, porcelain, and furniture, recreating the appearance of rooms from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. We will visit the Royal Chambers with the famous tapestries of Zygmunt August and wonderful Italian Renaissance paintings from the Lanckoroński collection.
