What To Expect

Pauline Monastery
The journey to and from Częstochowa takes about 5 hours, but this is not a waste of time - we encourage you to admire the landscapes of a typical Polish province and learn many interesting things about this region.
The trip itself after reaching the place called Jasna Góra includes visiting the Pauline Monastery through the chapel of Our Lady of Jasna Góra with the miraculous icon of the Black Madonna, the Church of St. Cross and the impressive defensive structures surrounding the monastery, such as defensive gates and towers. Pilgrims who wish to contemplate the miraculous painting at their own pace also have this opportunity.
After or before your visit, you can also take time to walk around the city or enjoy a meal.
