Wieliczka Salt Mine
Sightseeing with a local guide takes approximately 2.5 hours. It starts at Level 1 of the salt mine (64 meters deep underground). We will walk around 2 kilometers, visiting around 20 breath-taking chambers surrounded by salt in all shades of grey, black, and white, and two majestic chapels. One of them is one of the most famous chapels in Poland – the Chapel of St. Kinga. The Chapel of St. Kinga is the heart of the mine. It is filled with amazingly illuminated religious bas-relief sculptures carved in salt. During the trip, you will have a unique opportunity to taste the salt on your lips, experience the pure silence, and finally, listen to the stories of the history of the mine. Once the sightseeing is over, we will take the elevator to go back to the surface. You will be delivered to your place of departure.

Absolutely incredible tour, can’t recommend highly enough
Lucy_H, 25-03-2022
We absolutely loved this trip. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
The communication before the trip was incredible- I had WhatsApp messages with clear instructions on when and where to me which was tailored to our hotel location. There was even an option to add on a packed lunch for around £6 per person.
The trip itself was incredible- so much to see and the tour guides were excellent at both the concentration camps and the salt mine.
Be prepared for a lot of walking but there are plenty of breaks too.
10/10 and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a tour.
