Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau
Auschwitz is known world-wide, the city's name is a symbol of martyrdom of the millions. The Nazis established the Auschwitz concentration camp in April 1940. Enlarged in the subsequent years, it became a site of mass genocide. Some 1.5 million people of 28 nationalities died here.

In 1979 the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp was entered into the UNESCO World Heritage List. The site was turned into a museum in 1947, and is known as the Memorial to the Martyrdom of the Polish and Other Nations.

You will be picked-up from your accommodation at 7:00 am, after 1,5-2h drive your tour starts in Auschwitz at 9:00 am.

That type of sightseeing includes specialist tour of the Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau camps, enhanced with selected national exhibitions, the so-called Central Sauna, also the ruins of gas chambers and crematoria IV and V.

After finishing sightseeing, the driver will drive you back to Krakow.
