Chocholow

Chocholow is a wooden village where local people so-called highlanders produce smoked sheep cheese called "Oscypek". On your way to the hot springs you will stop in one of the wooden houses and be able to see for yourself how this cheese is made with the option of trying the cheese. The village of Chochołów, apart from the production of sheep's cheese, is also known for wooden houses built that look almost the same. Washing the walls of houses with water and soap twice a year is a tradition in this area. Thanks to these treatments, the buildings look very new, though are very old.

Krupowki Street

The town of Zakopane is the capital of Polish mountains. Each year, this place attracts many tourists who want to experience the unique style of highlander culture, which is expressed through architecture, food, music, style of speech and clothing. In the town center there is "Krupówki" street, where you will be given time for independent exploration and possible lunch. This street is the market square of Zakopane and you can find here many good restaurants with local food as well as souvenir shops.

At the end of the central street in Zakopane there is a cable car station. As part of the tour you will receive an individual ticket to the cable car that will take you to the top of the Gubałówka mountain.
