Overview

The Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and Memorial is a special place of remembrance dedicated to victims of the Second World War. The former largest Nazi German Concentration and Extermination Camp remains to be one of the most frequently visited historical sites in the world. A visit to the Museum is divided into two parts: the tour in Auschwitz I, which takes about two hours, and then the tour in Auschwitz II Birkenau, about one hour. Including transportation time it lasts about seven hours.

What To Expect

Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau
Visiting Auschwitz I lasts about 1 hour 45 min. up to 2 hours and covers the entire available route, including symbol of the camp - the gate "Arbacht Macht Frei", administration buildings, historical exhibitions and dedicated to memory victims from different countries. After visiting the first part of the museum Auschwitz it is planned to be short, 10-15 minutes of break, than Transport to Birkenau, which is located 3.5 km away. Visiting the Birkenau camp lasts until 1 hour 15 minutes, including: entrance gate, ramp, wooden barracks in the prisoners lived, the gas chamber, the ruins of the crematorium.

staff competente, preparato, disponibile e non da meno simpatico. E' stata un'esperienza unica a cominciare dal trasferimento dall'aeroporto all'appartamento. Per proseguire con la visita ad Auschwitz-Birkenau con guida in lingua italiana (inizialmente per un piccolo equivoco in lingua inglese risolto praticamente nel giro di pochi minuti). Cosa dire di più...è stato tutto perfetto. Consiglio vivamente di andare Cracow Visit Tours & Transfers per organizzare oltre la visita ad Auschwitz anche alla miniera del sale, e tante altre visite.
